Leaders are willing to ask forgiveness
salam & hi there...
"The Price of Greatness is Responsibility" - winston churchill
Good leaders act responsibly. They dont need to be told when they are wrong. More often than not, they'll tell you. They manifest in theirown lives the personal openness and honesty they expect from their associates.
Leaders can't afford to be defensive about personal failure. Too many other things are at stake to worry about saving face. The team member who spends an inordinate amount of time reflecting on the last play is one who probably wont have the courage to execute the next one.
Leaders are willing to take responsibility for their actions. They are willing to go down thechecklist of their own attitudes and motivations to see if they are the sand particle in the machinery that keeps it from running smoothly. They are willing to make the personal sacrifice for the overall welfare of the organization.
"i was wrong." "i am sorry." The sentences are rather small, but they are highly significant. And they will make a far greater impact than a long speech about morale and team effort.
Leader are peacemakers.
